ASAP Rocky Pushes New Fortnite Season Battle Pass Into Treasure Hunters

ASAP Rocky lands on the new Fortnite season battle pass as Fortnite Treasure Hunters starts today. The new Fortnite season battle pass arrives with a one-month mini season, a brand-new island, and new weapons.

The shorter run sets this season apart from a standard season. It bridges Chapter 7 and Chapter 8, and it ends on December 5th.

ASAP Rocky on a smaller island

The new island is smaller than last year's Simpsons mini season map, which concentrates play into a tighter space for the month ahead. It also includes new POIs, remixed POIs, and One Piece crossover spots, with a yacht for ASAP Rocky on the map.

That mix makes the season look less like a clean treasure reset and more like a crossover package wrapped around the old theme. The treasure angle comes from Chapter 1, but the season is also being used to stack in outside elements.

Battle Pass skins and gifting

The Battle Pass includes confirmed skins for Fortnite Treasure Hunters, along with a bonus version of Dark Kawaii Team Leader for gifting the pass. That gives the paid track a second layer of incentive beyond the map itself.

Which specific Battle Pass skins are included is still the unresolved part, and that is the detail players will watch most closely before deciding whether the pass is worth buying. Epic has put the structure in place; the remaining value depends on the actual lineup.

Captain’s Days rotation

Epic is calling the weekly content pattern Captain’s Days, with new sprites and weapons added each week. Sprites are staying in the rotation and more are being added weekly, so the season is built to change after launch instead of sitting static for a month.

For players, that means the smartest move is to treat Treasure Hunters as a short, evolving season rather than a long grind. The opening reveal is only part of the package, and the weekly drops are what will decide how long the island keeps its pull before December 5th.
