The Chicago Bears will again be without Kyle Monangai. The rookie running back was ruled out for Monday night’s game against the Seattle Seahawks, extending his absence to a fourth straight game because of thumb and toe injuries.
Monangai last played in the Bears’ win over the New York Jets on October 4, and his status has not changed since then. With Chicago set to face a Seattle team in a meeting between two of the NFC’s top clubs, the Bears will have to continue moving forward without one of their backfield options.
What the Bear Injury Report means for Chicago
Monangai’s absence removes another piece from the Chicago offense, but the news was not entirely negative for the Bears. Two key defenders were cleared to play, giving the team a bit more stability on that side of the ball heading into the matchup.
Colston Loveland also appeared on the injury report the day before the game with a neck issue, adding another item to monitor. Still, the clearest headline remains Monangai’s status: he is out again, and the Bears will go without him for a fourth consecutive game as they try to improve on their 5-2 start against Seattle’s 4-3 record.
