Ella Langley wore an Ella Langley Toy Story outfit as Jessie on Saturday night in St. Paul, Minn., turning her Halloween show into a costume-heavy finale. The set doubled as the last night of her 2026 Dandelion Tour, with her band also dressed as Toy Story characters.

Jessie look, St. Paul finish

Langley’s outfit leaned into Jessie’s cow print and wide-brimmed red hat, while her bandmates showed up as Woody, Buzz Lightyear and other Toy Story characters. Kameron Marlowe also joined the show dressed as Mario from Super Mario Bros. and came out to sing with her, keeping the night inside a loose, theatrical frame rather than a standard tour stop.

The timing mattered because the Oct. 31 show was not just a Halloween date; it was the final night of the 2026 Dandelion Tour and the last show on her calendar for the year. That gave the costume reveal a cleaner business meaning than a one-night gimmick: it marked the close of a full run, not a throwaway bit inserted mid-tour.

Candy onstage

Langley stopped the crowd after candy kept landing near her and made the safety point plainly. “Where does all this candy keep coming from? What the hell?” she said in a fan-filmed video, before adding, “I know it's Halloween, but I ain't trying to trip and die. Damn!” She also tossed a piece of candy offstage toward the front of the crowd.

That pushback is the complication inside the joke. The show invited playful costume energy, but the onstage candy crossed from decoration into a hazard, and Langley said as much without breaking character for long. Country performers have dealt with objects being thrown at them before, a pattern that has reached Riley Green, Kelsea Ballerini, Zach Bryan and Morgan Wallen in other moments discussed around this issue.

2027 tour talk

Earlier this month, Langley said she expects to tour again in 2027, which gives the St. Paul finale a clear end point without making it the end of the road. “Am I going on tour next year? Have I gone on tour every year? Of course! Who would I be? Who would I be if I didn’t go to sleep at terrible hours and go to sleep in a different state every night?” she said.

For now, the sharper takeaway is simple: the Jessie costume made the Halloween show memorable, but the candy thrown onstage is the part worth watching because it turned a celebratory closer into a safety issue in real time.
