Raising Cane's new store openings jump to 12 in November, with two of them set for Nov. 2. The rollout reaches 10 states at once and pushes the chain deeper into new markets such as Brick, Fayetteville and Sioux Falls.
1,000 locations now define the chain's U.S. footprint, and the November expansion adds to a base that already spans Texas, California, Louisiana and Ohio in large numbers. Todd Graves has made a top 10 restaurant brand in the US his personal goal, which puts this month’s pace in the context of a much larger climb.
Brick, Fayetteville, Sioux Falls
12 new locations will open across New Jersey, North Carolina, South Dakota, Alabama, California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Michigan and Utah. Brick, New Jersey; Fayetteville, North Carolina; and Sioux Falls, South Dakota are among the new areas getting a restaurant, giving the chain a faster route into communities where it has not been as visible.
100 new locations last year show how quickly the company has been building scale. In October, it added seven new spots, including in Wisconsin, Oregon and Georgia, and the November schedule extends that run rather than pausing it.
Todd Graves and 1,000 locations
201 stores in Texas, 147 stores in California, 63 stores in Louisiana and 65 stores in Ohio show how unevenly that footprint is spread today. The brand's mix of dense strongholds and new-state openings suggests it is still hunting for room to grow even after reaching 1,000 locations.
Two of the November openings land on Nov. 2, but the rest of the schedule is still only partly mapped in the public rollout. For customers in the named new markets, that leaves the immediate question of which location opens first and where the other November launches will fall within the month.
