Fox Nation has launched the first trailer for The Vow show, and the six-part series is set to premiere on November 11. Chris Harrison hosts the dating series, which introduces Jace Cates as its first eligible bachelor and immediately turns the launch into more than a simple programming tease.
Jace Cates, 30
Jace Cates is 30 and appears in the trailer saying he is there to find love. The preview also shows him praying, a choice that pushes the series toward shared values, faith, communication, and long-term goals rather than the usual speed-dating rhythm.
Cates is joined by ten women, which gives the six-part format a built-in elimination structure from the start. In practical terms, that means viewers know the series will not stretch the premise across an open-ended season; it has a fixed run and a fixed finish line.
Warner Bros. dispute
Warner Bros. has claimed that The Vow infringes on its copyright and trademarks for The Bachelor, and Harrison has pushed back publicly. He said, “I don’t see them going after the 50, 60, 70 other relationship dating shows that have come on in the time that I was there or since I left,” and added, “There’s been one show that they’ve gone after. Is that a coincidence? You be the judge.”
That dispute hangs over the rollout, because the trailer now gives the show a public identity before the premiere date arrives. Harrison is also executive producing alongside Lauren Zima, Nicholas Caprio, Tom Huffman, and Louis Caric, with Louis Caric serving as showrunner and Elan Gale as consulting producer.
November 11 launch
The Vow premieres on November 11, giving Fox Nation a dated launch for a six-part dating series with a clear lead and a clear legal shadow. The trailer does its job: it names the show, introduces Cates, and sets up the dispute that will follow the series into release.
