The JSO provided essential details about the crash involving a Toyota pickup truck and a motorcycle.
Details of the Fatal Accident
According to investigators, an elderly woman was driving a Toyota pickup truck south on Bulls Bay Highway. Simultaneously, a motorcyclist was riding eastbound on Ocala Avenue. The motorcycle collided with the passenger side of the Toyota, resulting in the rider being thrown from the vehicle.
Emergency Response
Jacksonville Fire Rescue promptly arrived at the scene and transported the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after reaching the medical facility.
