Draft and Recent Moves
Germaine Pratt was selected by the Bengals in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft, with the 72nd overall pick, coming from North Carolina State. However, June 2025 saw the Bengals release him, after which he quickly signed with the Las Vegas Raiders.
While with the Raiders, he played in four games, contributing:
- 25 tackles
- Two pass break-ups
- One tackle for a loss
Pratt’s stay with the Raiders was short-lived, as he was released after failing to travel to Indianapolis for Week 5 of the season.
Following his signing, Steichen indicated that a corresponding roster move for the Colts would be made to accommodate Pratt in the 53-man squad later on Wednesday. The inclusion of Pratt adds depth and experience to the Colts’ defensive lineup.
