Florida State University freshman linebacker Ethan Pritchard has made significant strides in his recovery after being shot in the head during an incident in August. Following his release from Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, Pritchard has been transferred to Brooks Rehabilitation in Jacksonville for ongoing rehabilitation.

According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Commissioner Mark Glass stated that Pritchard was not engaged in any wrongdoing when he was ambushed. Gadsden County Sheriff Morris Young revealed that the shooting was likely a case of mistaken identity. Four individuals have been arrested in connection with the case.

Earl Pritchard, Ethan’s father, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support they have received. He noted that their journey over the past 39 days has been filled with ups and downs, but it was remarkable for him and Ethan to leave the hospital together.
