A serious crash occurred in Stamford, Connecticut, early Thursday, leaving one person in critical condition. The incident took place at approximately 4:37 a.m. on Long Ridge Road.

Details of the Accident

The collision involved two vehicles: a 2016 Nissan SUV and a 2016 Volkswagen SUV. The Nissan was driven by a 39-year-old resident of Norwalk. He reportedly pulled out in front of the Volkswagen, which was traveling along Long Ridge Road.

Injuries Reported

  • The driver of the Nissan sustained severe injuries and is currently in critical condition.
  • The Volkswagen’s driver, a 24-year-old from Stamford, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
  • A front seat passenger in the Volkswagen, a 30-year-old Stamford resident, also sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

All three individuals were promptly transported to the Stamford Hospital Emergency Department for medical attention.
