Player Honors for the Week

Offensive Player of the Week

Rico Dowdle surfaced as the Offensive Player of the Week, despite a fumble impacting his overall grade. He achieved a remarkable 82.0 PFF rushing grade after carrying the ball 30 times. Dowdle’s performance stood out, as he did so without any long runs skewing the statistics.

Defensive Player of the Week

Nick Herbig of the Pittsburgh Steelers earned the Defensive Player of the Week title. He excelled in a game against the Cleveland Browns, completing 39 pass-rushing snaps and achieving six total pressures, including two sacks. His impressive 30.6% pass-rush win rate highlighted his strong defensive skills.

Rookie of the Week

Jaxson Dart, quarterback for the New York Giants, demonstrated considerable growth, securing the Rookie of the Week accolade. In the Giants’ victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, Dart showcased dual-threat capabilities and finished with PFF grades exceeding 80.0 for both passing and rushing.

Offensive Line of the Week

The Los Angeles Rams’ offensive line was recognized for their outstanding effort against the Baltimore Ravens, allowing minimal pressure on quarterback Matthew Stafford. Impressively, none of the Ravens’ edge defenders managed to record a single pressure during the game.
