‘No Kings’ Protests Resurge in Northeast Ohio: Oct. 18 Rally Locations

On Saturday, October 18, protests titled “No Kings” will take place across Northeast Ohio. These events are a response to various policies of the current administration. Earlier protests this summer drew thousands as citizens opposed President Trump’s military parade costing $45 million.

Organizers anticipate a strong turnout as demonstrators express their concerns over key issues including:

“The goal of this protest is to unite individuals worried about this administration’s actions,” stated Mosie Welch, a local organizer. “This isn’t about party affiliation but about defending our democracy.”

Welch noted that while attendance is hard to predict, she expects over 1,000 participants in Medina based on previous protests. The enthusiasm in her community has been remarkable, fostering a sense of solidarity among residents.
