Bollywood Star’s Surrey Café Targeted by Gunfire for Third Time

A café in Surrey, owned by Bollywood star Kapil Sharma, has been targeted by gunfire for the third time since July. The latest shooting occurred around 3:45 a.m. on Thursday at the establishment located on 120 Street and 85 Avenue. The Surrey Police Service (SPS) is currently investigating the incident.

History of Attacks

The first incident took place just a week after the café opened on July 10, when bullets struck the windows. A second shooting occurred less than a month later, on August 7, accompanied by the discovery of what appeared to be a Molotov cocktail outside the venue.

  • July 10: First shooting, windows damaged.
  • August 7: Second shooting, Molotov cocktail found.
  • October 2: Café reopened with police presence.

Throughout all three attacks, employees were present, but fortunately, there were no reported injuries. After the October 2 reopening, a police vehicle and mobile CCTV station were stationed outside the café to ensure safety.

The SPS is actively investigating these incidents. Officers were still on-site Thursday morning to gather evidence.
