Petro-Canada FACE Awards 2025 Grants to 13 Para Athletes

Petro-Canada has announced the recipients of the 2025 FACE grants aimed at supporting para athletes. This year, 13 athletes along with their coaches will each receive $10,000 in funding to help advance their training and competitive opportunities.

The FACE Program, now in its 37th year, provides vital financial assistance to athletes and their coaches who aspire to represent Canada in the Olympic and Paralympic arenas. Since its inception in 1988, Petro-Canada has invested over $14 million in more than 3,500 athletes and coaches.

This year’s grants are directed towards 55 athlete-coach pairs. They are selected based on their potential to compete at the highest levels but have not yet secured government funding. The funds will cover various expenses, including:
