The Washington Commanders will be without wide receiver Terry McLaurin for their upcoming Week 7 game against the Dallas Cowboys. This marks the fourth straight game that McLaurin has been sidelined due to a quad injury.
Terry McLaurin’s Injury Status
Initially, there was hope for McLaurin’s return, especially after he practiced in a limited capacity on Wednesday. However, he did not participate in Thursday’s practice and was spotted without a helmet on Friday. Despite some progress, McLaurin’s injury has not improved sufficiently for him to play.
Head coach Dan Quinn commented on the situation, noting the frustration McLaurin feels as he continues to work hard to recover. Quinn explained, “It’s just not ready yet, and that sometimes happens when you have a soft tissue injury.”
Impact on the Team
The absence of McLaurin, along with Noah Brown on Injured Reserve, has challenged the Commanders’ receiving options. The team is now looking to second-year player Luke McCaffrey and rookie Jaylin Lane to step up.
