In court documents, Richards detailed a pattern of violent behavior by Phypers. Her claims included:

- Physical slapping on her face and head.
- Violently slamming her head against a towel rack.
- Threatening to kill her.

Richards submitted photographic evidence showing her with a black eye, which she attributed to an encounter in January 2022.
