Actor Lee Ju-an recently opened up about his personal journey on the MBC variety show “Omniscient Interfering View.” During the October 18 episode, Lee revealed the emotional story behind the scar on his abdomen, which is a result of a liver donation he made to his mother.

Eight years ago, Lee’s mother was diagnosed with cirrhosis, necessitating a liver transplant. The actor narrated that initially, two out of three doctors advised against the surgery due to the size of his liver. Even his mother was reluctant for him to undergo the procedure. However, when she fell into a coma caused by liver cancer, Lee made a defining decision.
A Decision Driven by Love
