Four Broncos’ Super Bowl 50 Veterans Still Active in the NFL

As the Denver Broncos prepare to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of their Super Bowl 50 victory, they will also honor the late wide receiver Demaryius Thomas by adding him to their Ring of Fame. The Broncos triumphed over the Carolina Panthers with a score of 24-10, securing the franchise’s third championship.

Current NFL Status of Four Broncos’ Super Bowl 50 Veterans

Only four players from the 2015 Super Bowl team are still active in the NFL. Below are their names and current teams:

  • Von Miller – Pass rusher for the Washington Commanders
  • Brandon McManus – Kicker for the Green Bay Packers
  • Aaron Brewer – Long snapper for the Arizona Cardinals
  • Trevor Siemian – Quarterback for the Tennessee Titans

Super Bowl Performance Highlights

Von Miller earned Super Bowl MVP honors by recording 2.5 sacks and forcing two fumbles during the championship game. Currently, he has accumulated 3.5 sacks in the 2025 season.

Brandon McManus played a crucial role in the team’s playoff journey, maintaining a perfect record with 10 field goals and 3 extra points. He successfully kicked three field goals during Super Bowl 50. Last year, McManus was 20-of-21 on field goal attempts across 11 games, but he is currently sidelined with a leg injury this season, having made 7-of-9 attempts so far.

Aaron Brewer has been with the Arizona Cardinals since 2016. He contributed to the Broncos’ Super Bowl win as their long snapper.

Trevor Siemian was Denver’s third-string quarterback in Super Bowl 50. After Peyton Manning’s retirement in 2016, Siemian became the starting quarterback. He ended his tenure with a record of 13 wins and 11 losses as a starter. Today, he serves as a backup quarterback with the Tennessee Titans.

Looking Ahead

The Broncos will be hosting members from their Super Bowl 50 team during the upcoming weekend, though Miller and the remaining active players will be occupied with their respective teams. Fans are hopeful that these veterans will reunite for the 20-year anniversary celebration in the future.
