Status Report
The Red Wings did not conduct a morning skate following their recent 4-2 loss to the Buffalo Sabres. Forward Pierre Engvall has been ruled out for the season. Defenseman Alexander Romanov has been placed on injured reserve retroactively as of October 16.
Additionally, the Islanders have assigned forward Marc Gatcomb to the Bridgeport American Hockey League after he cleared waivers.
