The Vancouver Whitecaps FC are set to commence their journey in the 2025 MLS Cup Playoffs with the first game against FC Dallas. This opening match is scheduled for Sunday, October 26, at BC Place, kicking off at 4:30 p.m. PT. The playoffs are sponsored by BLG, BMO, and TELUS.

Matchday Information

Limited tickets remain for the match, especially in the lower bowl. Fans can purchase tickets at ticketmaster.ca/whitecaps or visit whitecapsfc.com/tickets for further options.

Playoff Format and Schedule

  • Round One matches are played in a Best-of-3 format.
  • If a match is tied after regulation, it will proceed to a shootout.
  • Game 2 will be held on Saturday, November 1, at Toyota Stadium in Texas, starting at 6:30 p.m. PT.
  • A potential Game 3 takes place on Friday, November 7, at BC Place.
  • The winner of this series will advance to the Western Conference Semifinals.

Travel and Accessibility

Fans utilizing the Skytrain should be aware that the elevator at the Stadium-Chinatown station is out of service. Those needing elevator access are advised to allow 15-20 minutes of extra travel time. The recommended travel route is as follows:

  • Disembark at Burrard Street Station.
  • Catch the 5 Downtown bus (Burrard Station Bay 7).
  • Get off at Cambie St. and Dunsmuir St.

Game Day Experience

All gates will open at 3 p.m. PT. To enhance your experience, it is recommended that fans arrive early to avoid long wait times. The first 20,000 attendees will receive a Whitecaps FC MLS Cup Playoffs flag.

Pre-Match Activities

  • Fan Zone festivities commence at 3 p.m. PT.
  • Continental Tire will distribute 500 co-branded scarves.
  • Enjoy live performances by GRVMNT, a local hip-hop dance crew.
  • Participate in the March to the Match, departing from Dublin Calling at 3:15 p.m. PT.

Venue Policies

BC Place operates as a cashless venue, accepting various digital payment methods. For an efficient entry, fans are advised to avoid bringing bags, as only clear bags smaller than 12”x12”x6” or one small opaque bag are permitted.

Community Support Initiatives

The Vancouver Whitecaps FC are partnering with Vancouver Firefighter Charities to support the Boys and Girls Club South Coast BC. Fans can donate at section 225 to contribute to this initiative.

Furthermore, the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program is now available at BC Place, aimed at providing additional support for individuals with non-visible disabilities.

During the match, the team will honor Oli Turner from the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. After bravely battling leukemia, Oli has raised nearly $10,000 to support other children in need.

Jüs Percy, a dedicated Whitecaps FC supporter for over a decade, will be recognized as the Supporter of the Match. Her memorable experiences include celebrating her birthday while watching former player Alphonso Davies score in his final match before heading to Bayern Munich.
