Hideo Nomo’s Legacy

Hideo Nomo made history when he transitioned from the Kintetsu Buffaloes to the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1995. His move opened the door for countless Japanese players to enter MLB.

During his career in the United States, Nomo spent seven seasons with the Dodgers. He currently holds the record for the most MLB wins by a Japanese pitcher, totaling 123.

Dodgers Manager’s Affection for Nomo
