Status Report
The Penguins did not conduct a morning skate after their recent 6-3 victory over the St. Louis Blues. Arturs Silovs will start in goal, following Tristan Jarry’s 26 saves against the Blues. Owen Pickering has been recalled from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton to fill in for Harrison Brunicke on defense.
The Flyers held an optional morning skate. Recently, forward Jett Luchanko was assigned to the Guelph Storm of the OHL. Travis Sanheim missed Monday’s practice for maintenance but participated briefly in Tuesday’s skate and is set to play. Nicolas Deslauriers and Egor Zamula will replace Nikita Grebenkin and Adam Ginning, both scratched for the game.
General Manager Daniel Briere confirmed that Rasmus Ristolainen could begin practicing soon, with a potential return to play in 4-6 weeks. Ristolainen had surgery for a ruptured right triceps tendon in March and was initially expected to be out for six months. Defenseman Emil Andrae has been recalled from Lehigh Valley.
