The shooting took place at approximately 9:22 a.m. in the 31300 block of Ridgeview Drive. Surveillance footage shows an individual exiting a silver car and approaching Sahsi’s vehicle, firing several shots through the driver’s window.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) is actively investigating the case. They have indicated that this incident appears to be targeted, although a motive is still unclear.

Freda Fong of IHIT has stated, “There’s a huge video canvass underway to track their vehicle. As far as we know, the canvass is going well, and there are some leads that we’re following up to locate the vehicle right away.”
Authorities are also urging anyone who was in the vicinity during the morning hours, specifically between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m., to provide dashcam footage.
