Disney+ to Premiere New Star Wars Sequel Soon

The Star Wars franchise is set to continue its momentum on Disney+ with the highly anticipated release of “Star Wars: Visions Season 3.” This new installment is gearing up to premiere on October 28, 2025. The season will introduce returning characters and storylines from past episodes, much to the excitement of fans.

New Character Highlights

One standout character to return is the Ronin, a former Sith who was first introduced in Season 1’s episode, “The Duel.” The upcoming episode titled “The Duel: Payback” will directly continue Ronin’s storyline. A new promotional poster showcases Ronin in his classic robes, wielding a red lightsaber alongside his astromech droid, B5-56.

New Faces

Joining Ronin is Anée-san, a female Twi’lek character. Anée-san is notable for her unique hairstyle, which features Japanese hair sticks to pay homage to female Samurai. Additionally, she is set to make history by featuring the most lightsaber blades wielded by a single character in the Star Wars universe.

Season 3 Episode Lineup

  • The Duel: Payback: A sequel to “The Duel” featuring the Ronin.
  • The Lost Ones: A follow-up to “The Village Bride,” spotlighting the character F and introducing a new character named Shad-Rah, who wields a pink lightsaber.
  • The Ninth Jedi: Child of Hope: Continuing the storyline from “The Ninth Jedi,” this episode brings back Kara, a fan-favorite.

Future Projects in the Franchise

In addition to “Visions Season 3,” other sequels and projects are currently in the development pipeline. “The Mandalorian & Grogu” movie is scheduled for release on May 22, 2026, following the adventures of Din Djarin and Grogu. An untitled Rey movie is also in progress, expected to explore the aftermath of “The Rise of Skywalker.”

Fans can look forward to more expansions in the Star Wars universe, as Lucasfilm continues to develop unique narratives across various media platforms.
