Beaujolais Nouveau Celebration Returns to Bucharest on November 21
The annual Beaujolais Nouveau Celebration is set to take place in Bucharest on November 21, 2025. This year, the Union of French Citizens Abroad (UFE) is hosting the event in collaboration with Pullman Bucharest World Trade Center. The festive gathering will commence at 6:00 PM at the Wave Club by Pullman.
Celebrate Beaujolais Nouveau
The theme for this year’s celebration is “Célébrons l’arrivée du Beaujolais Nouveau.” It aims to bring together the French-speaking and francophile communities in Bucharest for an evening filled with fine wines, a cocktail dinner, and friendly interactions.
A Rich Tradition
The Beaujolais Nouveau tradition began after World War II when Beaujolais winemakers were permitted to sell their new vintage earlier than usual. This event has evolved into a worldwide phenomenon that fosters gatherings every November, marked by the phrase, “Le Beaujolais Nouveau est arrivé!”
