The confrontation occurred on Wednesday night around 8:45 p.m. Inside a fast-food restaurant located at 380 Highway 43, a deputy attempted to apprehend Connelly. During this encounter, the deputy suffered a stab wound to the leg, leading to Connelly fleeing the scene.
