“We can make arrangements for pickups from various points after the service,” he added. This flexibility aims to accommodate the needs of many veterans attending the event.

As the program grows, Padgett noted that more drivers have stepped up to help compared to previous years. “Last year was really stretched, but now we can accommodate more people,” he said, expressing optimism for a successful service in 2024.

The Remembrance Sunday ceremony at the Cenotaph in London serves as a focal point for honoring those who have served in conflicts, including members of the British and Commonwealth military and civilian services. The King presides over the service, which features a two-minute silence at 11 am, followed by a March Past of veterans.
