Acquisition of Jacob Markstrom
The 35-year-old goaltender joined the Devils from the Calgary Flames on June 19, 2024. In this trade, the Devils sent Kevin Bahl and their first-round selection in the 2025 NHL Draft, which was later used to draft Cole Reschny.

International Representation
Jacob Markstrom was selected to represent Team Sweden in the Four Nations tournament. Unfortunately, he could not participate due to an injury.
