Marcel Hug Dominates the New York Marathon
He finished the marathon with an impressive time of 1:30:16. This triumph marks another significant accomplishment for Hug, who also won in Sydney earlier this year. Following him was British athlete David Weir, who finished nearly four minutes later with a time of 1:34:09.
Women’s Race Highlights
In the women’s division, Susannah Scaroni from the United States displayed outstanding performance. She led the race from the outset and crossed the finish line with a time of 1:42:10. The battle for second place was fierce.

- Catherine Debrunner finished just behind McFadden, claiming third place in 1:47:56.
