The 35-year-old dancer disclosed that she was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023. The diagnosis followed her discovery of a lump in her breast just before her honeymoon in the Maldives with fellow dancer Ben Jones. Upon returning home, tests confirmed the presence of cancer.

In her Instagram video, Amy clarified that this surgery is not due to a new cancer diagnosis. She emphasized her ongoing commitment to transparency regarding her health. “Following a recent appointment with my incredible medical team, we’ve decided that I’ll be having another mastectomy this week,” she stated.
