Blues Secure Defenseman Calle Rosen in Trade with Capitals
In a recent move, the St. Louis Blues have strengthened their defense by acquiring Calle Rosen from the Washington Capitals. The trade was confirmed by Doug Armstrong, the Blues’ President of Hockey Operations and General Manager.

The Blues sent defenseman Corey Schueneman to the Capitals in exchange for Rosen. Following the trade, Rosen will report to the Blues’ AHL affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds. Additionally, the Thunderbirds have traded forward Sam Bitten to the Hershey Bears, receiving future considerations in return.
