November Social Security Check Schedule Revealed: Some Won’t Receive Payment

The ongoing government shutdown has raised concerns among Social Security recipients regarding their payments in November. However, both Social Security and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) payments will continue, as they do not require congressional approval.

November 2025 Social Security Check Schedule

In November 2025, approximately 74 million individuals will receive their Social Security benefits according to a structured payment schedule. The distribution will occur as follows:

  • November 12: Beneficiaries born between the 1st and 10th of the month.
  • November 19: Beneficiaries born between the 11th and 20th of the month.
  • November 26: Beneficiaries born between the 21st and 31st of the month.

Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Payments

It’s important to note that there will be no SSI payments issued in November. Since November 1 falls on a Saturday, the November check was paid early on October 31. The next SSI payment will be on December 1, 2025.

Approximately 7.4 million Americans receive monthly SSI benefits. Many of these recipients also qualify for Social Security payments.

Available Services During Government Shutdown

Despite the government shutdown, Social Security payments remain unaffected. However, some services may experience delays or limitations. Available services during the shutdown include:

  • Applying for benefits
  • Requesting an appeal
  • Changing address or direct deposit information
  • Accepting reports of death
  • Issuing a critical payment
  • Replacing lost or missing Social Security payments
  • Changing a representative payee

  • Issuing new or replacement Social Security cards

However, some services are unavailable during this period, including:
