In Physical: Asia, teams represent various countries from the continent, echoing the spirit of the Olympics. The series features participants from eight nations, each vying for a grand prize of ₩1 billion Korean won (approximately $700,000). This competition aims to crown a champion country.

Challenges and Format
Physical: Asia features intense challenges designed to test the limits of physical strength and teamwork. Highlights include a king of the mountain competition on a shifting sand dune and a scavenger hunt from a sinking shipwreck.
Any team member eliminated will result in the disqualification of the entire team, adding an intense layer of strategy and teamwork.
Production and Setting
The series is filmed on a custom-built soundstage in Korea, encompassing areas as vast as five soccer fields. The set includes visually striking locations such as a half-sunken shipwreck and a recreated version of Gyeongbokgung Palace.
Producer Jang Ho-gi articulated the intention behind the set design, linking it to the rich histories and cultures found throughout Asia. “Every element, from the set decorations to the musical score, ties into the search for the new champion of the Physical series,” he stated.
Release Schedule
Physical: Asia premiered recently, with the first four episodes available for viewing. Subsequent episodes will roll out weekly, with new installments being released every Tuesday. The entire season consists of 12 episodes.
