McLaren Living has secured a significant £250 million regeneration deal in Reading, marking a transformative step for the area. This project is set to introduce more than 600 new homes, 30% of which will be designated as affordable housing. The development will also encompass 40,000 square feet dedicated to workspaces, shops, and dining options, along with a 102-bed hotel.

The redevelopment will take place on a 5.2-acre brownfield site that previously housed the Civic Centre. Key features of the project include:
- A new civic square adjacent to The Hexagon Theatre
- A community hub for local engagement
- Enhanced public spaces connecting to Reading Minster
- Access improvements to Hosier Street’s market
A Broader Vision for Reading
This project is part of a larger regeneration initiative in Reading. McLaren Living is also involved in the redevelopment of the nearby Broad Street Mall. Together, these efforts aim to deliver approximately 1,200 homes across both developments.
