Overcoming Obstacles: Hadleigh Dill’s Journey
Initially, Dill faced a substantial setback—a severe ankle injury that sidelined her for nearly all of her senior season at Enka High School in Candler, North Carolina. Despite this, she entered Campbell in the fall of 2023 with enough credits to be academically classified as a sophomore.
Academic and Athletic Achievements
Hadleigh is on track to graduate in four years, simultaneously earning a degree in sport management and an MBA. In her early college career, she has become a leader on a team that narrowly missed its first NCAA tournament appearance in 25 years. Her experience also includes a journey to the second round of the Women’s National Invitational Tournament (WNIT).
“I’m blessed to have my scholarship. It recognizes the sacrifices that my family has made,” Dill stated. This acknowledgment extends to her parents, who supported her athletic ambitions despite the personal challenges they faced, including financial strains and extensive travel.
