Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) is set to enhance travel options for residents and tourists alike with new direct flight services. JetBlue Airways will offer daily non-stop flights to major U.S. cities starting on March 5, 2026.

New Flight Routes Launching

JetBlue will connect VPS with:

  • Boston (Logan International Airport – BOS)
  • New York City (John F. Kennedy International Airport – JFK)

The airline plans to operate five weekly flights to these destinations, specifically on:

  • Mondays
  • Thursdays
  • Fridays
  • Saturdays
  • Sundays

Economic Impact and Job Creation

This new partnership is expected to generate between 20 and 25 jobs in the local area. Okaloosa County Airports Director, Tracy Stage, expressed enthusiasm for this development, highlighting the significance of JetBlue’s commitment to the Panhandle region.
