Cincinnati Native to Host Upcoming ‘Saturday Night Live’ Episode
Nikki Glaser, a talent hailing from Cincinnati, is scheduled to host an upcoming episode of “Saturday Night Live” on November 8. This appearance marks her debut as the host of the long-standing sketch comedy show, which is currently in its 51st season.

Born in Cincinnati and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Glaser ventured into stand-up comedy at the age of 18. She crafted her first jokes while attending the University of Colorado Boulder, eventually transferring to the University of Kansas to pursue a degree in English.
Glaser gained significant exposure through her performances on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and by participating in “Last Comic Standing.” Her stand-up specials include the critically acclaimed “Perfect” on Comedy Central and “Bangin’,” which debuted on Netflix in 2019. Notably, she received an Emmy nomination for her special “Someday You’ll Die” and made history as the solo host of the Golden Globes in 2025.

Joining Glaser for the November 8 episode is singer Sombr, also making his SNL debut. Born Shane Michael Boose, the 20-year-old artist burst onto the music scene with his 2021 single, “Nothing Left to Say.” His 2023 EP, “In Another Life,” further showcased his evolving artistry.
Sombr achieved widespread fame with tracks like “Back to Friends” and “Undressed,” which gained viral popularity in 2025. “Undressed” peaked at No. 16 on the Billboard Hot 100, while “Back to Friends” topped the Billboard Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart on October 18, ending “Undressed’s” six-week reign. He also made a mark at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, winning for best alternative video.
