Yungblud Curates Soundtrack for London Trans Photo Exhibit
Outernet London is launching an impactful photography exhibition titled “Trans Is Human,” designed to highlight the narratives of transgender individuals across the U.K. This exhibition, created by trans-rights activists Jake and Hannah Graf MBE, will commence on November 17. It will be accessible to the public at no cost and will feature a soundtrack from Yungblud’s track “Hello, Heaven, Hello,” from his recent album Idols.
Exhibition Highlights
The “Trans Is Human” exhibition will showcase portraits of 13 transgender individuals, captured by renowned photographer Mariano Vivanco. Each portrait is paired with personal narratives that delve into themes of resilience and identity.
- Amanda: A refugee and the first Miss Trans Global Uganda.
- Sarah: A marathon runner who supports LGBTQ+ individuals with disabilities despite her sight loss.
- Leo: A life coach and speaker with dyskinetic cerebral palsy.
According to Jake and Hannah Graf, the exhibition aims to combat misinformation and the dehumanization faced by the U.K. trans community. They emphasize the urgency of this initiative, especially as the community faces potential risks to their fundamental rights.
Words from the Creators and Yungblud
The Graf duo expressed their gratitude towards Outernet and Yungblud for amplifying their message. They highlighted the significance of presenting authentic human stories in these challenging times. Yungblud remarked on the honor of including his song in the project, emphasizing the celebration of truth and identity within the exhibition.

Supporting LGBTQ+ Equality
