In a tragic incident, Ace Frehley, the former guitarist of the iconic rock band Kiss, died due to blunt trauma injuries sustained from an accidental fall. Frehley, born Paul Frehley, passed away in Morristown, New Jersey, at the age of 74, as confirmed by a report from the Morris County Medical Examiner.

The fall, which occurred at his home, was initially reported by a representative but lacked specific details about the cause of death. Following a comprehensive medical examination, it was revealed that Frehley suffered multiple contusions, bone fractures to the skull, hemorrhages, and a subdural hematoma. Additional injuries were noted, including bruises on his hip, thigh, and abdomen.

After the fall, Frehley was placed on life support. Unfortunately, he succumbed after his family made the difficult decision to turn off his ventilator. A procedure named hemicraniectomy was attempted to address the hematoma but was unsuccessful.

On October 23, a funeral was held for the guitarist in the Bronx. His friend and SiriusXM host, Eddie Trunk, shared plans to honor Frehley’s memory with a tribute show or fan celebration in the future, pending family approval.
