Zach Hyman’s Recovery Timeline

Hyman, who is 33 years old, has been sidelined since May 27, when he sustained a wrist injury during Game 4 of the Western Conference Final against the Dallas Stars. He underwent surgery over the summer to fix fractured and damaged ligaments. As a result, Hyman was placed on long-term injury reserve at the beginning of the 2025-26 season.

Although an early November return was anticipated, his comeback has been postponed. Recently, Hyman has been practicing with the team as he prepares to rejoin the lineup.

Updates on Other Players

In addition to Hyman, centreman Mattias Janmark is also nearing a return. Knoblauch indicated that Janmark could play either Saturday against the Colorado Avalanche or on Monday against the Blue Jackets. The 32-year-old has been out since the pre-season due to an undisclosed injury.
