Join the Public in Honoring Remembrance Day Ceremony
Today, ceremonies will take place at the GFL Memorial Gardens, starting promptly at 11 a.m. The public is encouraged to attend and participate in this important observance.
Parade and Wreath Laying
To partake in the wreath-laying ceremony at the Queen Street cenotaph, individuals should join the parade leaving GFL Memorial Gardens at 9:45 a.m. The procession will arrive at the cenotaph by 10:00 a.m.
Following the wreath-laying service, the parade will return to GFL Memorial Gardens for the main Remembrance Day service at 11 a.m.
Support for Veterans
The Royal Canadian Legion’s national poppy campaign, funded through public donations, aims to assist veterans and their families. The organization extends gratitude to volunteers, community members, and the executive for their invaluable contributions.
