Kysre Gondrezick’s Transition

Gondrezick, now a free agent, showcased her photoshoot on Instagram, declaring, “Proud to be the first Black professional athlete in history to grace Playboy magazine.” She emphasized that her transition from the WNBA reflects an evolution rather than a departure from her true self.

Building a Multidimensional Brand

In an interview with Playboy, Gondrezick spoke about her journey in professional basketball. She highlighted the effort required to reach WNBA standards and mentioned the additional work necessary to maintain success in the league. She stated, “What people label as a transition, I embody as evolution. I’m not stepping outside who I am. I’m building a multidimensional brand.”

Playboy, on social media, announced Gondrezick’s achievement at the end of October. They noted, “Kysre is the first current female professional basketball player to also take on the Playmate title,” reinforcing her groundbreaking role in sports and modeling.
