Shane Pinto has secured a significant four-year, $30 million contract with the Ottawa Senators. The deal, which averages $7.5 million per year, will take effect next season.

Pinto, celebrating his 25th birthday just a day before, could have entered restricted free agency after this season. His impressive performance includes 14 points, comprised of eight goals and six assists, over 17 games this season. Since joining the Senators in the 2020-21 season, he has accumulated a total of 121 points, including 59 goals and 62 assists, across 221 regular-season games.

Playoff Performance

In his playoff debut, Pinto recorded two points with one goal and one assist. This was part of a six-game series against the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2025 Eastern Conference First Round.
