Pernell McPhee recently joined the University of Michigan’s coaching staff, marking a significant milestone in his career. This event is noteworthy as it represents a reunion with Wink Martindale, who previously coached McPhee during his time with the Baltimore Ravens.

Martindale served as the defensive coordinator for the Ravens from 2018 to 2021 while McPhee played as an outside linebacker. McPhee retired from the NFL following the 2021 season and transitioned to coaching at Pahokee High School in Florida, his alma mater.
