Fatal Alhambra Crash Kills Officer and Another; Injures Two
An Alhambra police officer tragically lost his life following a high-speed pursuit that culminated in a severe collision early Thursday morning. Officer Sanders, aged 28, had been with the department for approximately eight months before the incident.
Details of the Fatal Crash
The crash occurred around 3 a.m. at the junction of Valley Boulevard and Edgewood Drive. This incident involved two vehicles: the police patrol unit and a suspect vehicle. Eyewitnesses reported a loud crash that was heard from some distance away.
Victims and Injuries
The collision resulted in the untimely death of a female passenger who was ejected from her vehicle. Unfortunately, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
