Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is addressing significant issues regarding the number of times he has been sacked this season. During practice, Jackson discovered that he has already absorbed 23 sacks in just seven starts. This matches the total number he accrued throughout all of last season.

This year’s 23 sacks place Jackson among the highest in the league, despite him missing three games due to a hamstring injury. Last season, he was sacked the same number of times but during a full 17-game stretch, which ranked him 26th among all quarterbacks.

In response to his current situation, Jackson stated, “I got to talk to the offensive line about that. I’m going to holler at my guys about that.” His comments highlight the importance of communication and support among teammates.

Injury Concerns

In addition to the sack issues, Jackson has faced multiple injuries this season. He missed practice recently due to an ankle injury but was able to fully participate on Thursday. Previously, he was sidelined for one practice due to knee soreness.

Over the past two games against Minnesota and Cleveland, he completed just 57.4% of his passes and averaged 184.5 yards. In the latest match against the Browns, Jackson had a passer rating of 47.6 and did not throw any touchdown passes, marking the second-lowest rating of his career.
