One of the major highlights of this series is the annual visit to local industry leaders. This year, 25 participants had the opportunity to tour Heinrich Georg Maschinenfabrik, a renowned family-run company located in Buschhütten. The firm is acclaimed globally for manufacturing high-automation systems and machines, particularly in the fields of coil processing and roller grinding technology.

The focus of this year’s tour was the “Altgelände” on Buschhüttener Straße. Thomas Kleb, Louis Neff, and Wilhelm Stahlschmidt from Heinrich Georg welcomed the group at the “Georg-Haus” on Langenauer Straße. They provided an engaging presentation detailing the company’s history and operational scope.
Following the presentation, attendees toured the original production facilities, which still house mechanical manufacturing and the training workshop. Participants were impressed by the modern manufacturing equipment and training conditions evident within the facility.
