Dillon Danis, Nina Agdal Seek Jury Trial as Lawsuit Advances
The ongoing legal battle between Dillon Danis and Nina Agdal is intensifying as the lawsuit progresses through the court system. Agdal initially filed her complaint last October after Danis shared explicit images of her on social media, allegedly to promote his boxing match against Logan Paul.
Details of the Lawsuit
The situation escalated as Agdal’s legal team amended the complaint to include numerous allegations against Danis. The key accusations consist of:
- Multiple counts of disclosing intimate images.
- Invasion of privacy.
- Defamation, including false claims regarding Agdal’s health and personal relationships.
Agdal’s attorneys have set a minimum of $150,000 in damages for each violation related to the disclosure of her images. They also seek punitive damages, attorney fees, and a restraining order to prevent Danis from sharing any more explicit photographs without her consent.
Danis’s Response
In his defense, Danis’s legal team filed a response denying many of Agdal’s allegations. They stated that they lack sufficient information to fully admit or deny all claims. The 16-page rebuttal concluded with a request for the court to rule in favor of Danis on all counts of the complaint.
Jury Trial Request
Both parties have made clear their desire for a jury trial on all relevant issues. Judge Michael Hammer has mandated that Danis comply with Agdal’s legal requests, including providing “supplemental interrogatories” by December 1, following missed deadlines.
Unanswered Requests
Among the pending requests are demands for Danis to reveal the identities of individuals he communicated with about Agdal via direct messages on Twitter. Agdal’s lawyers argue this communication coincided with a video Danis posted, reportedly hacked from her Snapchat account.
Next Steps in the Lawsuit
The next phase in this legal dispute is slated for December 18, when a telephone conference will take place between both parties and the court.
