John Torode, the former host of MasterChef, recently expressed heartfelt sentiments for his wife Lisa Faulkner as he embarked on a trip to Qatar. He is currently residing at the five-star Zulal Wellness Resort in Al Ruwais. While John enjoys the sun, Lisa remains in the UK.
Before his departure, Lisa sent him a touching card that simply read, “I [heart] us.” John shared his emotional response on Instagram, writing, “A little note to remind me whilst I am away [heart emoji]. Love you @lisafaulknercooks.”
Upcoming Cooking Engagements
This latest trip follows an earlier visit to Doha, where the couple participated in various cooking workshops together. During that trip, they conducted a pizza-making workshop at the Doha Beach Club and hosted an evening at the Sora Fine Dining Restaurant in April.
Although John hasn’t disclosed the specific purpose of his November stay, he has indicated that Lisa will not be accompanying him this time.

The couple recently announced the return of their popular cooking show, “Our Christmas Kitchen,” set to premiere on Saturday, November 29, at 11:40 AM on ITV. They took to social media to invite fans back, stating, “So many of you have asked when we are back and here we are! We hope you like the show as much as we did making it!”
