According to reports from TMZ, Diddy collaborated with an internal inmate group called the Bankroll Bosses. Together, they funded and coordinated a Thanksgiving dinner to spread joy during the holiday season.
Coordination of the Thanksgiving Event
The group purchased food from the prison’s commissary. They spent two days preparing meals that included:
- Turkey roast
- Mashed potatoes
- Corn
- Dessert
Despite limited resources such as no stoves or microwaves, the volunteers successfully delivered meals to each housing unit. The setup provided enough food for approximately 200 inmates per building.

Diddy expressed his thoughts on the importance of Thanksgiving. He remarked, “Thanksgiving, to me, is about making sure other people eat.” He highlighted that many inmates feel isolated during the holidays.
A former gang leader, known as B.I., played a key role in organizing the event. He mentioned the logistical efforts involved, stating, “We cooked the food and sent it to all the buildings.”
Diddy’s Prison Experience
Reflecting on his time at Fort Dix, Diddy noted that misconceptions exist about prison life. He described a sense of brotherhood among inmates, emphasizing communal support.
Combs is set to remain at Fort Dix until June 2028. Although his sentence was extended due to rule violations, he remains hopeful about completing a drug treatment program for potential sentence reduction.
