The 22nd Marrakech Film Festival commenced on a glamorous note on Friday night. The event featured a screening of Gus Van Sant’s “Dead Man’s Wire,” attended by prominent figures in the film industry, including Jenna Ortega, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Bong Joon Ho, who serves as the jury president this year.

About “Dead Man’s Wire”
“Dead Man’s Wire,” which premiered at the Venice Film Festival, tells the story of Tony Kiritsis, a criminal involved in a dramatic kidnapping in 1977. The film stars Bill Skarsgård and will be released in theaters on January 9, with a wider release set for January 16.
